ISO – International Organization for Standardization

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards.

ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.

ISO is a non-governmental organization that forms a bridge between the public and private sectors. On the one hand, many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government. On the other hand, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations.

JAS-ANZ

Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) is an independent, third party accreditation body. JAS-ANZ provides accreditation to certification bodies.  JAS-ANZ does not certify or inspect organisations, products or people; rather, they accredit the bodies that do. JAS-ANZ is a government-appointed accreditation body and it is a not-for-profit, self-funding organisation.

RABQSA provides internationally recognised certification for management system auditors in a range of disciplines including Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Food Safety. It also certifies and registers international quality management consultants and accredits Training Providers that deliver flexible training and assessment in auditing competencies. RABQSA is contracted to manage a number of specific personnel registration programs including Aged Care Quality Assessors (on behalf of the Aged Care Standards & Accreditation Agency).
